With St Patrick’s Day around the corner, you have to get your pot of gold in order and add a little green to your normal home décor. Here are some DIY decorations that you can enjoy doing by yourself or with the entire family!

Pot of Gold
What is needed:
- Mini Terracotta Pot
- Black Acrylic Paint
- Sponge Brush
- Gold Glitter
- Shamrock Sticker (or Vinyl Cut Out)
- Rolo Candies
How to do it:
- You will start by painting the outside of the pot with your black paint of choice (Two coats should cover it.)
- When your outside is dry, you can apply a thin layer, of the glue of your choice, along the inside of the lip and then on the outer rim.
- Tip the pot upside down and roll into your gold glitter.
- Take the outer part of your shamrock sticker (or cut out) and place it in the middle of your pot. Putting glue inside of the cut out or sticker will allow for clean lines after you remove and the glitter is dry.
- Final step, fill with your candies and enjoy your masterpiece!

Shamrock Yarn Art
What you’ll need:
- A piece of plywood measured and cut into the size you prefer.
- Nails
- Hammer
- Yarn
How to do it:
- Start by cutting out three heart shapes out of paper. Place them on your board and move them around until they resemble a shamrock shape. Tape them into place.
- Using your hammer, tap in the names along the outside of your paper hearts. When you have covered the entire outside of your DIY stencil, you can rip out the paper from inside the nails.
- Use your yarn and go through all of your nails, wrapping the yarn around and making an intricate pattern.
- When the inside of the shamrock is complete, do the process over but in the shape of the stem!
- After the project is complete, hang it onto your wall and enjoy!

Split Pea Kiss Me Sign
What you’ll need:
- Wooden Frame
- Split Peas
- Glue or Mod Podge
- Printable Picture
- Scissors
How to do it:
- Place glue over the entirety of the wooden frame. Put the split peas on. The surface of wood should be mostly covered. Let dry completely before moving on to next step.
- Print and cut out your Kiss Me picture.
- Insert the printable into your design.
- Display!
